Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

Digital Ecom Ventures LLC ("Ecom Ventures", "we", "us") operates ecom-ventures.net and the analytics platform Ecom Ventures Intelligence. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Questions about this policy or our data handling: audit@ecom-ventures.net

1. Who we are

Digital Ecom Ventures LLC is a United States registered company providing Amazon marketplace management services to brands under direct commercial agreement.

2. Information we collect

From website visitors. If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, company and message you provide, and use them solely to respond to your enquiry. Our website may use standard analytics cookies to understand site usage; you can block cookies through your browser settings.

From Amazon Selling Partners we manage. Where a Selling Partner authorises our application, we access data from their Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising accounts through Amazon's official APIs. This includes:

  • Aggregate sales and traffic data (sales, units, sessions, page views, conversion rate)

  • Inventory data (stock levels, coverage, inbound shipments)

  • Advertising data (spend, clicks, campaign and keyword performance, search terms)

  • Catalogue data (ASINs, product titles, parent and child relationships)

  • Brand analytics reporting available to that Selling Partner for their own brand

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information about Amazon buyers. We do not request access to buyer names, addresses, contact details or payment information, and our analysis uses aggregate business data only.

3. How Amazon data is accessed and used

Explicit authorisation. We access a Selling Partner's Amazon data only after that partner explicitly authorises our application through Login with Amazon. Authorisation may be withdrawn by the Selling Partner at any time, directly in their Amazon account.

Read-only. Our platform reads data for analysis and reporting. It does not modify listings, pricing, inventory or advertising campaigns.

Used only for that Selling Partner. Data obtained from one Selling Partner is used solely to provide analytics and recommendations to that same Selling Partner. It is never used to serve, benchmark or advantage another client.

Never sold or shared. We do not sell, licence, rent or share Amazon data with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not combine data across Selling Partners to create comparative or market-intelligence products.

4. How we protect data

  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256).

  • Access credentials are additionally encrypted at the application layer before storage and are never held in plaintext.

  • Access is limited to named members of our team whose role requires it, scoped to the accounts they manage, under role-based access controls. All access is logged to an audit record.

  • Our infrastructure is operated on managed cloud platforms holding recognised security certifications, with production data hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).

  • We maintain an incident response plan and will notify affected parties, and Amazon where Amazon data is involved, without undue delay.

5. Service providers

We use the following providers strictly to operate our services. Each is bound by data-processing terms and provides encryption in transit and at rest. None uses our data, or Amazon data, for their own purposes or to train models.

  • Vercel — application hosting and compute. Hosted in the European Union.

  • Supabase (on AWS) — database, authentication and file storage. Hosted in the European Union.

  • Anthropic — AI-generated analysis and recommendations, using aggregate, non-personal data. Hosted in the United States.

6. International transfers

Our production data is hosted in the European Union. Where data is transferred outside the EU — for example to our AI processing provider in the United States — such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including the provider's standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep data

  • Amazon data is retained for no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law.

  • When a Selling Partner withdraws authorisation or an engagement ends, access credentials are deleted immediately and the associated data is deleted within 30 days.

  • Contact-form enquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Any Selling Partner may request deletion of their data at any time by writing to audit@ecom-ventures.net. We action such requests within 30 days and confirm completion in writing.

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated directly to affected clients.
